RED AND WHITE FLEET FEATURES THE PERFECT “PLAYGROUND” FOR SPRING BREAK

While Red And White Fleet features San Francisco’s original bay tour, the family-owned bay cruise operator is an ideal setting for families looking for enrichment and entertainment activities during Spring Break. Acknowledging that families may have divergent interests during school holidays, children in search of engaging entertainment and parents intent on keeping the “brain waves” active, Red and White Fleet provides a balance of fun and learning. Red and White Fleet’s Spring Break cruise options are as follows:

Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise – NEW! — Celebrating the 75th anniversaries of both the Golden Gate and Bay bridges, this is the only cruise that sails under both impressive San Francisco icons. The Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise pays homage to the launch of Red and White Fleet in 1939 as part of the Golden Gate International Exposition, when the company had received a license to operate sightseeing cruises under both newly built bridges. And since that time, millions of locals and visitors alike have enjoyed tours of San Francisco bay aboard the Red and White Fleet. The 1½ hour loop passes the city’s entire bay waterfront and features San Francisco’s illustrious pastimes, unique architecture, natural history and Native American culture on exclusive headphone audio available in 12 language choices. The Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise will depart at the following times during Spring 2012: Mar 29–May 22 — Daily @ 12:30pm and 2:15pm

Prices are as follows: Adults (18+) = $36; Youth (5-17) = $24; and Children under five = free.

Season’s Launch of the California Sunset Cruises (on March 29) — On this casual two-hour cruise, passengers enjoy views of the city’s stunning sunset over the Pacific Ocean, live guitar entertainment, hearty appetizers from the buffet and a beverage from the bar. Nestled into the warm and cozy atmosphere of Red and White Fleet’s historic ferry boats, the cruise passes along the dramatically lit skyline of San Francisco with its modern skyscrapers and historic landmarks, past the infamous island of Alcatraz and cruise under the impressive San Francisco Bay Bridge and the legendary Golden Gate Bridge. The spring season for this offer is: (Now – Mar 28) from Thurs – Sat nights at 5:30 PM and Spring 2012 (Mar 29 – May 22) from Weds – Sun nights at 6:00 PM
